Yongtao Lin works as a health information and network librarian at the Tom Baker Cancer Knowledge Centre in Calgary Alberta. There she provides library services to support health care professionals in their evidence-based practice and clinical activities. The library is part of a provincial patient-centered education strategy supporting cancer patients and their families. She was a hospital librarian in rural Nova Scotia for a few years before moving to the University of Calgary. Her prior experience as an instructor has led her to integrate education into various aspects of library programs. Yongtao is interested in the impact of grey literature in health care and a strong believer in evidence-based practice. Yongtao was named the Canadian Hospital Librarian of the Year in 2011. She is currently listed as a librarian at the University of Calgary Library.
