Marta Millaret is a medical librarian at the Catalan Agency for Health Information, Assessment and Quality, in Barcelona Spain. Since 2007, she has worked on complex bibliographic searches for the agency's clinical practice guidelines, reports and scientific papers. Millaret has experience in teaching biomedical databases and bibliographic references manager software (Reference Manager, EndNote, RefWorks). She has research interests in health information resources and management, e-health and social networks. She blogs in Catalan at Salut i documentació 2.0 where she shares her observations on information technologies and documentation in the health sciences. She can be found on Twitter at, and LinkedIn. She is currently enrolled in a program of literary studies at the University of Barcelona.

Millaret also completed postgraduate work at the Open University of Catalonia (Universitat Oberta de Catalunya) in the area of information skills in the health sciences.
