Lee-Anne Ufholz, Canadian health librarian and CHLA/ABSC Past President is active in health librarianship in Canada as both a practitioner and administrator. Ufholz has a Bachelor of Science degree in biology (microbiology and immunology) and a Master of Library and Information Science degree, both from the University of Western Ontario. Her previous positions included health sciences research liaison and head of the health sciences library at the University of Ottawa. Ufholz has worked with faculty, students and researchers in the Faculty of Medicine. Before joining the uOttawa Health Sciences Library she worked for the Canadian Centre on Substance Abuse as an information specialist.
