There are a number of opportunities to write in LIBR 559M. To do your research, you will need to have access to the UBC Library online. You will need to obtain a current library card. Spend some time exploring the UBC library website to find out what other services are provided.

Software Requirements

As an advocate of social software, I encourage you to explore collaborative writing tools such as Google Documents and photo-sharing via Flickr and Picasa.

Plagiarism

There is a primer on avoiding plagiarism here. Everyone is required to be familiar with this information. The University takes plagiarism seriously so govern thyself accordingly.

Citation Style
