IntroductionSee also HLWIKI Canada Advisory Franklin Sayre is an MLIS student at the University of British Columbia's School of Library, Archival and Information Studies (SLAIS). Frank has an Interdisciplinary Bachelor of Arts (Hon.) degree with majors in Psychology and Science and Technology Studies (STS) from York University. During his undergraduate studies he focused on cognitive and biopsychololgy and the history of medicine and evolutionary biology. He works as a student librarian at the UBC Biomedical Branch Library providing reference and circulation services to members of the public, medical students and clinical staff. He also works as a Graduate Academic Assistant at Woodward library researching and acquiring electronic books to support the MD Undergraduate program. Frank will complete his degree in 2012 and hopes to pursue a career in health or special librarianship where he can help people find the information they need to make the world a better place.
